Topic of the Day: Vacation & Back to School

Okay, so most of you may know... I've been away for awhile. Truth is, I've been on vacation for 10 days and I just got home yesterday night. It's been a really long time since I've updated this blog. So now, here I am again... writing a blog post for you guys! (:
Vacation was actually quite hectic. I'm glad I'm back.

So let me tell you a bit about my vacation. (:
First, I took a car ride to NYC, dropped off my car there, and went to the airport (car service -- terrible). Then the plane arrived like couple hours later, flying my family and I to Orlando, Florida. There, we called the hotel to pick us up from the airport to the hotel. We stayed at the hotel for 2-3 days, watching the news for Hurricane Irene. Hurricane Irene left a power outage at my house for 3 days. My food probably spoiled in the fridge... ): We swam a lot too. My dad almost drowned, so I had to save him. It was a good laugh afterwards. Then we left for the cruise (Carnival Sensation). We stayed there for 3-4 days I think... We went to the Bahamas. We got into the private beach for no extra pay even though we were in the public beach (LONG story)! Oh, and the aquarium too. Saving money... (; It was actually pretty fun. The beach was gorgeous. (: There was so much that happened on the cruise itself! I met some really awesome people. They became fast friends! They're from Texas, which I thought was amazing. <3 We played "Back-Alley-Bridge", a card game that our Texas friends taught us. It was pretty intense. At first, I didn't understand the game... at all. But, soon I got the hang of it. It was a really cool game! Click here to learn how to play: http://www.pagat.com/boston/backalley.html The cruise ended soon enough. So back to Orlando, Florida! Universal Studios time! <3 We realized that our Texas friends are also staying near Universal Studios for a couple of days. We met up at City-Walk. And got balloon hats at MargaritaVille (a restaurant). My mom got a heart-balloon hat from my dad. And everyone else got 'monkey on a palm tree'. It was a really memorable night. We ended up going back to my hotel (on the water taxi -- Hard Rock Hotel) and played "Back-Alley-Bridge" in the hotel lobby. Then they left... and my family and I went to sleep. Universal Studios was really fun the 3 days we were there. We ended up going on so many rides, it was so thrilling. I'm not a huge roller-coaster fan, so I ended up going on motion simulators, and some kiddie-roller-coasters. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was one of my favorite places at the "Island of Adventure". My whole family loved the Popeye ride at Toon Lagoon! We went on that ride at least 10 times the whole trip (Express Pass)! So of course, every good vacation always has to come to an end... so I took my planes back to NYC, ate at my grandparents' house... then drove home. We got a lot of souvenirs for everyone back home... and for us as well! Pretty nice. I got my dad a Hard Rock Hotel pin. My mom got me a really cute white cap from Hard Rock Cafe. My brother got another cap as well. I found it for him at the Hard Rock Hotel. And I think my mom got a T-shirt. I rate this vacation a ***** (FIVE STAR). <3 Vacation pictures will probably be up later this week, if I have time to put it up! (;

Tomorrow is my first day back at school. I finally finished all of my summer homework today! Yup, I procrastinated enough... I never want to procrastinate again! /: So wish me luck! I cleaned my desk today, got organized, need to clean my room, and take a shower. I haven't picked out an outfit for tomorrow yet... Wish me luck! (:
